Consoles for Kids
This initiative is designed to bring the joy of gaming to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Through a tiered entry system, qualified kids will receive a handheld console—either provided directly by Ligma Studios or generously donated by fellow gamers who share our vision.
Tier 1 – The Starting Point: Every child begins by receiving a small handheld console. This marks their entry into the program and gives them a chance to experience the joy of gaming.
Upgrades Through Growth: Consoles for Kids isn’t just about play—it’s about progress. Children can earn upgraded consoles based on two key factors:
- Academic Performance – showing commitment and improvement in school.
- Behavioral Performance – demonstrating positive actions and good character.
Accountability Matters: If a child struggles with failing academics or behavioral issues, they will temporarily lose eligibility for future upgrades until meaningful improvements are made. This ensures that gaming becomes a reward for responsibility, effort, and personal growth.

That’s why one of our long-term goals is the launch of Ligma University, a unique education initiative designed to cut through the noise of traditional institutions and focus on what really matters: building games.
At Ligma University, students won’t be stuck in endless lectures or theory-heavy programs. Instead, they’ll gain hands-on experience by contributing directly to games in active development at Ligma Studios. This means they’ll be working on real projects, solving real problems, and seeing firsthand how a game comes together from the inside out.
